In recent years, both the number and variety of structural interventional procedures have increased exponentially, becoming an increasingly common therapeutic option for patients. This evolution requires all cardiologists—not only those performing the procedures—to acquire new knowledge in order to offer their patients the most modern and appropriate treatment options.
This course is therefore primarily intended for cardiologists who wish to deepen their expertise in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, with a focus on patient selection for structural heart interventions, intra-procedural monitoring, post-procedural outcome assessment, and the early or late detection of potential complications.
